We offer comprehensive courses that cater to both novices and experienced individuals alike. These courses provide a solid grounding in best common practices, a deep understanding of applicable laws and codes, and an introduction to the common tools and equipment used in various trades. Our emphasis on hands-on experience ensures that all students, even those who have never lifted a hammer or don’t know what a Phillips head is, gain practical skills and knowledge that are directly applicable in the field.
Our intensive training programs, ranging from crash courses on individual trades to an all-encompassing Master Remodeler program, are designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen trade. By the end of each course, certified students will confidently read and navigate a scope of work, measure and calculate material quantities, and be OSHA 10 certified for on-the-job safety.

Integrity
Do what’s right, legally and morally. Integrity is a quality you develop by adhering to moral principles. It requires that you do and say nothing that deceives others. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself.
Duty
Fulfill your obligations. Doing your duty means more than carrying out your assigned tasks. Duty means being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team. The work of our Master Craftsman is a complex combination of expertise, professionalism and responsibilities — all in constant motion. Our work entails building one assignment onto another. You fulfill your obligations as a part of your unit every time you resist the temptation to take “shortcuts” that might undermine the integrity of the final product.
Respect
Treat people as they should be treated. In the Soldier’s Code, we pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. About the Founder - Joseph Fiasco
Joseph Fiasco is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the restoration and remodeling industry. With over 8 years of expertise, he has established himself as a licensed General Contractor, dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding service.
Joseph’s journey began with a remarkable achievement, earning a 4-year scholarship from the Army ROTC to Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nanotechnology. Following his graduation, Joseph was commissioned into the Texas Army National Guard as an Engineer Officer with the esteemed 272nd Engineer Company.
Relocating to Houston, Texas, Joseph took on the role of a Laboratory Technician at Filtration Technology Corporation (FTC). Simultaneously, he served as an Engineer Officer in the Texas Army National Guard, responsible for Vertical and Horizontal Construction projects. Through his dedication and commitment, Joseph progressively advanced from Platoon Leader to the position of Executive Officer, earning an honorable discharge for his exceptional service.
Seeking new opportunities, Joseph moved to Denver, Colorado and joined Beyond Roofing as a Production Manager. In this capacity, he excelled in customer interactions, contract negotiations, material procurement, permit acquisition, and insurance claim negotiations. Managing numerous insurance claims for diverse roof-related issues, Joseph gained extensive expertise in the industry.
During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Joseph embarked on a journey with his family, accompanying his wife on her travel nursing assignments in various intensive care units across the United States. While in San Diego, California, he accepted a position as the Reconstruction Division Manager at Same Day Restoration, overseeing all remodeling and construction projects. Recognizing the potential to establish his own company, Joseph began pursuing his General Contractor’s License with the state of California. In January 2020, he transitioned to Generation Contracting as the Production Manager, successfully managing the reconstruction and remodeling department, overseeing multiple project managers, and handling projects totaling 4 to 5 million dollars annually.
Finally, after obtaining his General Contractor’s Class B License and gaining substantial experience, Joseph decided to venture out on his own. In October 2021, he founded EMS Restoration, a company dedicated to providing top-quality restoration services. It was during this time that Joseph conceived the idea for the Master Craftsman Academy. Recognizing the prevalent shortage of skilled trade professionals and the abundance of untrained and unprofessional contractors in the construction industry, Joseph was determined to address this issue. With the support of highly experienced trade professionals, he established the Master Craftsman Academy, aiming to restore excellence and respect to the craftsman industry as a whole.
